Letters to my baby! A year ago, today!

.Today is March 15th

Hey baby boy! A year ago today was a very special day! A year ago today Mommy woke up early that morning to see if you were in her tummy and I was so excited to see that you were! Mommy and Daddy had a difficult time getting you here but we would have fought twice as hard for you! You make every moment of our life so much better! To remember that special day I wanted to show the very first letter I wrote to you after finding out you were in my tummy!


Today is March 16th

Yesterday was one of the best days of my life! At 7:40 in the morning I took a test that told me that you are really in there growing! You must have been so excited to tell us because you showed up on the test two days earlier than we thought we would know! I could barely contain how excited I was to finally know that you are really there! In a moment of excitement I called your Daddy to tell him all about you, but realized I could surprise him with the news of you! This is how I told your Daddy!


I told him I had got him a present, and when he opened it he was so surprised! He just kept asking me over and over if you are really there!

We told other friends and family members with a rebus puzzle!
Mommy use to do these all the time when she was younger. You will be able to answer this too when you are older! We are all so excited that you are here and can't wait to meet you! Mommy and Daddy think about you and talk about you all the time! We feel so blessed that God has brought you to us!

Letters to my baby!

Today is February 22nd

Hey little man! I cannot believe that you are almost 4 months old! Time is just moving so fast! We are loving watching your every move so much and love watching you learn. One of your favorite things to do is to stand up on our tummies when we are lying down and you look down at our faces. You laugh and talk! It is just so darn cute! More cute moments of yours is when you will get really excited and playful! You will kick your feet and move your hands really quick with this cute serious look on your face! :) You have gotten SOO talkative! I tell you everyday that you are taking after your Daddy because he can hold a conversation with anyone! Mrs. Jennifer (your babysitter) thinks you will be making full sentences in no time haha! I do have to brag about you too because tonight as I laid you on your tummy and you held your head up you rolled over to your back twice!! It was kinda an accident, but you better believe that I will sit in front of you, every moment you are on your tummy, with the video camera ready, just in case it happens again! What can I say, I am a proud Mama! And I always will be!

5 ? Friday!

Yea! It is the end of the week {finally!} and time for 5 ? FrIdaY! YEA!

1. Can you drive a stick shift?

Well my first car was a stick shift when I was 15 and learning to drive. I tried really hard to learn but couldn't get past the jerky start at EVERY stop sign!

 

2. What are two foods you just can't eat?

Okra and pretty much any type of seafood! I have food texture issues and many foods feel gross to me, but these are probably at the top of the list!

 

3. Do you buy Girl Scout Cookies? What is your favorite kind?

I love thin mints and have been trying to find a girl scout every time we go to the grocery store and can't find one! Bueller..... Bueller....

4. How do you pamper yourself?

Before baby: Getting a mani, pedi, massage, or my hair cut and colored
After baby: just a 15 minute hot bubble bath!

5. What is your nickname and how did you get it?

I can remember being called Ally Cat from several different people. My Honey (grandmother) and Opa have always called me Ally since I was little and now since my Honey has passed this name is close to my heart!
