Letters to my baby!

Today is May 21st

Mommy and Daddy went to the doctor's office again today to take some pictures of you! They want to measure how big you are in your pictures to make sure everything is good. You were really tired and the doctor needed you to roll over so they could get a good picture of you. You must not have wanted to wake up because it took you a little while to decide to start dancing around. I could tell you were sleepy because you were not happy to wake up yet :) We did get some really cute pictures of you and one of your cute little hand!Daddy says that you are saying, "Man, my Daddy is good looking" in this picture! He is so silly! I love this picture of your little hand! I can't wait to feel this little hand pushing my belly and having Daddy feel you moving around in there!

We are 1/3 of the way done and I am getting so excited to have you here with us! It will still be a while until you are ready to be here (you are about the size of a plum right now), but we are all excited to meet you!

Letters to my baby!

Today is May 3rd

It has been a while since I wrote you and a lot has changed!! You have gotten so big! Every week we get to see you, you seem twice as big! We are getting so close to telling everyone about you and I can't wait! I want to just yell it out, but for now we are keeping you our little secret! This is what you look like right now at 11 weeks old!You are so cute already!! Right now you (me really) like to eat different things. First you LOVED bean burritos from Taco Bell, then it was different types of cereal, and then it was peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! But the most consistent thing you seem to love has been either oranges or drinking orange juice, we have one of these almost everyday! :)

Daddy loves seeing you too! He comes to the doctors office every week with Mommy to see you and watch your little heart beat. He says that is the first thing he looks at! The past three weeks you have been moving around a lot! This is around the time that your muscles started to develop! I love to see you move and I can't wait until I can feel you dancing around and I can put your Daddy's hand on my belly to feel you too! Mommy and Daddy are so excited to meet you and we have loved every minute of this journey helping you get here, even the yuckier times when Mommy doesn't feel so well because it reminds us that you are in there!! We love you so much!

Letters to my baby!

Today is March 29th

Today we saw you in your first ultrasound and took your first picture! It was so exciting to see you! Your heart was beating so well and we can already see it. You are only 5 weeks and 5 days old! I know that you are going to have such a sweet heart when you get here because it is so strong already! Daddy told the doctors that he thinks you look like a boy with that strong heart :) , but you are way to small to know yet! Right now you are about 3 mm long, that's about the size of a grain of rice. I can't wait to get to see you again! Here is your first picture! You are that little white spot at the bottom of that black bubble :)

About my letters!

So I have a been writing letters periodically to document this journey to becoming a Mommy! I don't write in a journal, but I really thought it would be neat to be able to one day show my child these letters that I wrote to them documenting everything from weird cravings to ultrasounds! The letters have been written from before I knew our little baby was there until now. I am really excited and I hope you enjoy ready my "letters to my baby!" and following along with us!

Letters to my baby!

Today is March 16th

Yesterday was one of the best days of my life! At 7:40 in the morning I took a test that told me that you are really in there growing! You must have been so excited to tell us because you showed up on the test two days earlier than we thought we would know! I could barely contain how excited I was to finally know that you are really there! In a moment of excitement I called your Daddy to tell him all about you, but realized I could surprise him with the news of you! This is how I told your Daddy!


I told him I had got him a present, and when he opened it he was so surprised! He just kept asking me over and over if you are really there!

We told other friends and family members with a rebus puzzle!
Mommy use to do these all the time when she was younger. You will be able to answer this too when you are older! We are all so excited that you are here and can't wait to meet you! Mommy and Daddy think about you and talk about you all the time! We feel so blessed that God has brought you to us!

Letters to my baby!

Today is March 6, 2010

Mommy and Daddy have started going to a wonderful doctor who is helping us to be able to get pregnant. I have something called PCOS and Endometriosis that made it really hard to have you here with us, but God has brought these wonderful people in our lives to help us. Mommy and Daddy have dreamed of you for a long time now and have prayed that God would bring you to us! Today I am not sure if you are in there or not, but I have faith that you will be if not today then someday! If it is not your time to come to us yet, Mommy and Daddy will continue to pray for you! We already love you more than you will ever know.
